Lily Holt is a native of Palm Beach, Florida and it was here that she developed her great love for shoes. At the tender age of seven, Lily would only agree to having inoculation shots for a trip to Africa after she had made her mother promise to buy her a pair of high heels. It is no wonder that today Lily is designing her own line of sexy, stylish, elegant and sophisticated accessories and shoes.

Lily graduated from Mt. Vernon College, Washington D.C., attended the University of Miami, Graduate Program, managed some of the most prestigious racing sailboats around, worked as an interior Designer and Special Events Manager for Leta Austin Foster in Palm Beach, Florida, was the Managing Director for Spa Latin America where she developed an eight million dollar spa for the Argentine market, all before she decided it was time to follow her true passion and start Lily Holt in 2002.

Lily launched Lily Holt from Buenos Aires, Argentina. In December 2001, Argentina suffered a political and economic collapse, meaning five presidents in two weeks, and 75% devaluation of the Peso. Lily saw potential to engage talented Argentine designers, local factories and suppliers to launch her beautifully hand crafted collection.

The Lily Holt team today consists of 25 employees and two international offices. The line is manufactured in 18 factories worldwide including a proprietary factory in Buenos Aires where all of the Lily Holt designs are developed, produced and assembled. Lily Holt is at over 100 boutiques nationwide, including the Lily Holt boutiques in Palm Beach, Florida and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
